Miss Nor Cal Pageant is a one day pageant that empowers young women toward their personal and professional goals. It provides opportunities for personal life skill coaching, interview training, photo shoots, modeling, public speaking, community service events, plus many more activities. Our winners will go onto receive $1000.00 prize money toward entry to compete at the  Miss California USA and Teen pageant and other fabulous prizes!

Teens are 14-not yet 19 years old as of January 1, 2025. 

Miss are over 18 years of age or older.

Other qualifications are you must be legally recognized as female, an American citizen, you can  live in ANY city in California for at least 3 months prior to the State pageant.  If selected as  Miss Nor Cal  or Miss Nor Cal Teen winner, you agree to compete at Miss California USA or Miss California Teen USA pageant. Applicants will be asked to verify their address and submit a copy of their birth certificate.

Our competition elements are the same as the USA State and National pageants. The scoring is: Personal Panel Style Interview: 50%, Miss-Swimsuit or Teen-Active Wear Presentation: 25% and Evening Gown Presentation.: 25%. Top scoring contestants answer an on stage question and then crowning. 

Yes, a non-refundable total entry fee of TBA  is the only cost to compete that is required by contestants. There is an apply and payment  page in the menu above. No pageant experience is necessary to compete and there is no talent required. We will teach you all the walking patterns and answer any questions you have so that you can compete with confidence. 

Opening Number: Teens-- cocktail party dress, Miss--cocktail party dress. Please remember that the judges sit below the stage and that the length of your dress shouldn't be too short and it should be easy to dance in. Jewelry: only earrings (no necklace or bracelets),  Shoes: nude or silver sandal heels (no other color shoes allowed).

Interview Outfit for Teen and Miss: day dress, pants suit, jumpsuit, pants and blouse, skirt and blouse. No cocktail or nightclub wear.

Teen: Active Wear - any color capris, leggings or fitted shorts, any color full fitted tank top or crop top, white tennis shoes only with no-show socks. No logo, no bling allowed. Stud earrings are OK or no earrings.                                

Miss: Swimsuit - any color, one piece or two piece, ample coverage of top and bottom, no thong bottoms, supportive top, nude sandal  heels, hoop earrings. You will receive a sarong or you can bring your own. 

Evening Gown - Miss & Teen---Must be floor length at some point, any color, any style, optional slit with appropriate coverage, age appropriate,
